Requirements
- 3-5 years of Accounting, Finance, or related field experience
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP Accounting and ASC 606
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize multiple priorities
- Ability to analyze complex contracts for pertinent information
- Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, and time/project tracking software is preferred
Nice to have
- CPA
- Public accounting experience
- SaaS industry experience
Day to day
- Partner with services teams to ensure timely and accurate tracking of project hours and budgets
- Manage AR activities of multiple business units
- Perform revenue recognition analysis to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and review backlog reports
- Serve as the main liaison between accounting and services teams focusing on data accuracy and process improvement
- Continually improve revenue processes while ensuring compliance with ASC 606
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Legal, and FP&A teams
- Assist in yearly financial audits and regulatory reporting.
