Who you are

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA, CA or equivalent with excellent technical accounting skills and IFRS experience
  • Leadership or management responsibility
  • Experience with software licensing, subscription, and services revenue accounting
  • Experience scaling accounting processes in a high-growth environment
  • Experience with ERP, Rev Rec, CRM, CPQ systems – NetSuite/Salesforce
  • Multi-country multi-currency operations and tax environments
  • Professional written and spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel twice a year for company events

  • Software engineering qualification
  • MBA or other relevant business degree
  • Passion for technology



What the job involves

  • Drive revenue recognition processes and decisions across teams
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales Operations, Sales, Legal, and FP&A teams to design standard contracts
  • Improve process and configuration in NetSuite for automation of the revenue lifecycle
  • Review and evaluate revenue recognition impacts of non-standard contracts and new products
  • Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals
  • Assist in month-end revenue close and maintain effective internal revenue over transactions and reporting
  • Research and write accounting memos on significant revenue recognition and policy matters
  • Act as the primary liaison with external auditors
