Requirements
- BS/BA in EE CS or related field
- 7+ years Sales Engineering experience in network monitoring management or cloud services
- Ability to articulate complex topics to business and technical audiences
- Ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits
- Experience with Network and Systems Management systems
- Technical pre-sales experience in ITOM APM ITSM
- Experience in an equivalent role for a technology firm
- Ability to travel and meet customers face to face
- Understanding of IT Operations in virtualized and cloud environments
- Strong presentation speaking and writing skills
- Knowledge of UNIX TCP/IP SNMP Syslog PowerShell ITIL
- Knowledge of Python XML JSON YANG NETCONF and Kubernetes is a plus

Day to day
- Deliver technical sales support for ScienceLogic's hybrid cloud network monitoring solutions to prospective customers.
- Prove product fit through Proof of Value activities and clearly document competitive differentiators in emails RFPs and sales materials.
- Work closely with sales teams and customer stakeholders while providing tradeshow support and presenting complex ideas to technical and business audiences.
