Who you are

• Experience selling into Pharma/Biotech or Academic Biology Institutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Technically savvy and able to learn technical products quickly
• Proficiency with computers
• Responsive and organized with timely customer follow-up
• Self-motivated and proactive in generating leads and providing demonstrations
• Comfortable with cold calling
• Willing to travel 50% to 75% of the time
• Previous experience in consultative sales and account management

Desirables

• Degree in Biology or life sciences
• Knowledge of genomics or small molecule screening
• Experience with liquid handling market

What the job involves

• Represent Liquid Handling portfolio in UK and Ireland territory
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients
• Identify new customers and follow up on leads
• Provide quotations and negotiate pricing
• Transition customers to post-sales support teams
• Attend trade shows and travel for product demos
