Remote Satellite Electrical Power Systems Engineer Job in UK MDA Space

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Experience with LEO/MEO satellites and power sub-systems design and testing
• Strong understanding of space environment and orbit mechanics
• Proficient in aerospace systems and engineering fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with systems integration processes
• Experience with qualification and acceptance testing of new designs
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience leading and coaching technical teams
• Ability to support spacecraft operations in critical phases

What the job involves

• You will join the Satellite Systems team, contributing to the design and validation of satellite electrical and power architectures.
• You will define power systems, support mission analysis, and ensure successful satellite testing and integration.
• You will develop and write requirements, SOC, verification and validation matrices, and oversee subsystem assembly, integration, and testing activities.
