Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant engineering or field experience
  • FE preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medium and high voltage power systems and SCADA
  • Experience with SEL equipment installation and configuration
  • Experience configuring testing and commissioning IEC61850 DNP3 MODBUS and other SCADA protocols
  • Experience creating Network Architecture Diagrams
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Ability to travel periodically for weeks across states for field work as needed
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and people skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Nice to have

  • Electric power option preferred
  • RTAC experience
  • Oil & Gas private usage networks
  • Client-facing experience

Day to day

  • Perform detailed electrical power system design including one-line and three-line diagrams control schematics wiring diagrams SCADA communications and grounding
  • Program install test and commission SCADA and PLC systems with a focus on SEL RTAC and related equipment
  • Carry out field testing troubleshooting and commissioning while supporting clients and project teams with quality documentation and deliverables
