Requirements

4+ years of SEO experience
Technical SEO expertise
Years of working within an agency environment is a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extensive Excel and Google sheets experience
Highly proficient in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, Sitebulb, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4
Exceptional analytical, statistical, and problem solving skills

Day to day

Conduct keyword research and create content optimisation briefs for the copywriting team
Optimise page titles and meta descriptions based on search data
Create and optimise internal linking documents
Schedule regular crawls to identify tech issues and implement solutions
Conduct regular technical SEO audits to find optimisation opportunities
Provide clear recommendations on SCHEMA optimisations
Resolve technical SEO issues like broken links and crawl errors
Monitor page speed and core web vitals
Create monthly reports in Looker Studio
Manage 404s across client accounts monthly

Agencies are notorious for taking all the cash & none of the risk. The industry has a stigma for being overpriced & completely removed from the value it promises to create. Whilst “outputs” are always provided, whether or not they drive commercial value is rarely in the minutiae of contractual agreements.
