Requirements
- Broad hands-on security engineering experience across multiple cybersecurity technologies and integrations
- Advanced Python development experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across security applications operating systems networks identity services and system integrations
- Hands-on Linux deployment configuration patching scripting service management monitoring troubleshooting and lifecycle management
- Experience developing automation and response workflows using Python PowerShell Bash REST APIs JSON YAML and vendor SDKs
- Experience integrating enterprise technologies through APIs SDKs web services structured data formats authentication methods and vendor-supported interfaces
- Experience supporting large IT environments security systems software development and/or system deployments
- Ability to participate in monthly on-call rotation supporting a 24x7 SOC
- Must complete background screening and annual CJIS certification

Day to day
- Design and develop security automations, internal tools, APIs, dashboards, and integrations that improve enterprise security operations.
- Support the deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of security platforms, Linux systems, and Docker-based environments.
- Collaborate with security engineers, SOC analysts, incident responders, and stakeholders to enrich alerts, triage incidents, manage cases, and maintain reliable 24x7 operational support.
