Remote Security Engineer Job in Columbus, OH Veeva Systems

Who you are

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Possess 2+ years experience in Security Engineering or similar roles.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with endpoint security and web application firewall maintenance.
• Application development or scripting knowledge in Python or similar languages required.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP Stack Web-Application Architecture and Encryption fundamentals.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts including CI/CD systems and code management.

What the job involves

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of web application firewalls and host intrusion systems.
• Support and tune web application firewall solutions to support product development.
• Develop and expand our security data lake through script creation and dashboard building.
• Automate security tools deployment and configurations in the DevSecOps pipeline.
• Assist product teams with security solution support and issue triage.
