Remote Security Engineer Job in UK Wiz

Who you are

• 6+ years in at least one of the following areas: detection development and tuning, endpoint and mobile security, identity authentication and access management, security operations
• Securing key enterprise systems for email, communications, developer tools, CRM, and back-office functions
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to think outside the box for developing scalable self-service security capabilities
• Experience in scripting or software development to integrate security technologies and automate processes (Powershell/Python preferred)

Desirables

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with remote, globally distributed teams
• Experience in software development or managed infrastructure services organizations
• Experience in SaaS development and operation

• Design, deploy, and integrate corporate security technologies
• Automate processes to enhance efficiency in security functions
• Review security telemetry and engage in threat hunting
• Monitor and harden security controls across various platforms
• Enforce strong access controls for SaaS and internal systems
• Secure important enterprise applications
• Collaborate with IT, software engineering, and DevOps teams
• Influence and execute internal security strategy and initiatives
• Respond to incidents, security events, or vulnerabilities when necessary
