Bachelor's Degree or currently pursuing in relevant field OR 1+ year experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, anomaly detection, SOC detection, threat analytics, SIEM, IT, or operations incident response.
Experience with programming (Python, .Net, C#, or equivalent).
Experience in writing tools, automation, and enhancements for services/products.
Familiarity with PowerShell/Scripting, Windows Services infrastructure.

What the job involves
Identify and implement automation to improve service health and reliability.
Automate security protections such as asset patching.
Design and script service telemetry, alerting, and self-healing capabilities.
Triage, investigate, and resolve service issues.
Author functional and technical documentation.
Communicate with engineering, project management, and operations teams on a technical level.
Stay current on new technologies and methodologies including Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.
