Remote Security Software Engineer Job in Raleigh, NC Microsoft

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C# Java JavaScript or Python OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in developing with C#/Azure microservice patterns.
• Ability to meet Microsoft customer and/or government security screening requirements including specialized security screenings like Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
• Passion for security engineering and development skills especially with C#/.NET.
• Ability to separate large problems into smaller milestones for clarity and progress.

What the job involves

• Determine user requirements for a set of features and develop design documents.
• Create and implement code for products and services while reusing code as applicable.
• Monitor system, product, or service for degradation interruptions and restore them as approved.
• Invest time and effort into staying current with developments to improve availability and performance.
• Break down larger work items into smaller tasks and provide estimation.
