Remote Security Technical Program Manager Job in North Carolina, United States Microsoft

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, technical program management, data analysis OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity assurance
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check

Desirables

• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
• 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code
• 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
• Experience in cybersecurity and program management specifically in security governance
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience with defining and tracking OKRs and KPIs
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Customer feedback and data driven
• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, 'getting things done' attitude

What the job involves

• Support operations and security governance within Sovereign clouds, ensuring compliance with Microsoft's top-tier security standards
• Develop high-impact security requirements to protect Microsoft Azure services against emerging threats
• Provide expertise in security by proposing and reviewing processes and compliance measures that address security risks
