Who you are

• Must have at least 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Demonstrated experience with full cycle accounting
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills for handling multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Accounting degree required
• Quickbooks and Bill.com experience required

Desirables

• Experience in investor/venture-backed companies
• Versatility in background and industry experience
• ERP experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
• CPA designation

What the job involves

• As an AVL Accountant your focus is on the construction and management of accounting systems to bring efficiency and visibility to operations.
• These efforts are the vital foundation to allow for you and your fellow peers (Controllers and CFO team members) to lead the growth and expansion for our clients.
• You will handle responsibilities such as customer invoicing, revenue accounting, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense reporting, payroll, and account reconciliations.
