Who you are
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a background in Big 4 audit or a large regional firm
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA License
- Strong technical accounting skills with experience in month-end close, reconciliations and audit preparation
- Understanding of US tax regulations
Desirables
- Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish
- Experience in accounting for SaaS
- Familiarity with ERP platform
- Expertise in enhancing accounting processes
- Experience with internal controls
What the job involves
- Oversee all the accounting processes of our US subsidiary
- Lead month-end closing process for US, Mexico, Brasil, South Africa
- Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Ensuring compliance with local and Group regulations
- Drive process improvements to streamline accounting procedures and policies
- Consolidation package preparation
- Preparation of data for tax purposes
- IC transactions reconciliation
- Serve as a key contact with external auditors and tax consultants
