Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in public accounting outsourced accounting or similar client-facing environment
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Comfortable owning client relationships and communicating clearly in writing and on calls
- Experience reviewing bookkeeper work and coaching on corrections
- Able to produce and present financial statements cash projections and budgets
- Based in or near the Lehigh Valley PA area for quarterly in-person meetups
Nice to have
- CPA license
- Active CPA candidate
- Small business client experience
- Professional services experience
- Law firm accounting experience
- Karbon familiarity
Day to day
- Lead a pod of clients end to end and own their month-end close, reporting, and advisory support.
- Review bookkeeper work, coach corrections, and ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, and polished.
- Build client relationships through proactive calls, financial insights, cash projections, budgets, forecasts, and tax prep support.
