Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in biotechnology pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with month-end close account reconciliations and audits
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience preparing and analyzing clinical trial accruals and R&D expense accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Public accounting or publicly traded company experience preferred
- Experience with NetSuite or other large-scale ERP systems preferred
- Experience supporting internal control and SOX compliance processes preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments

Day to day
- Play a key role in the monthly close process and support financial closing and accounting operations
- Prepare journal entries account reconciliations and supporting schedules for balance sheet and expense accounts
- Analyze clinical trial activity vendor invoices and operational data to produce accurate accrual estimates and reporting support
