Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field
  • Required
  • 5-8 years of accounting experience with GAAP and financial statement knowledge
  • Experience with a large ERP and financial reporting tools preferred NetSuite experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of complex GL and bank reconciliations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables VLOOKUPs and simple formulas
  • Ability to propose solutions and drive processes from start to finish
  • Detail-oriented organized and flexible with multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to research and troubleshoot issues
  • Proactive team-centered collaborative working style
  • Exposure to AI-assisted accounting reporting or automation tools and willingness to adopt new technologies

Day to day

  • Reconcile the general ledger and bank accounts while preparing monthly adjusting journal entries and accruals.
  • Support the annual audit by assembling accurate schedules and collaborating with auditors and internal finance teams.
  • Handle daily cash management and accounting operations, including AP, AR, fixed assets, prepaid items, reporting, and process improvements.
