Requirements
- 4+ years of accounting experience with audit cleanup catch-up or full-cycle background
- CPA and or audit experience a plus
- Strong forensic mindset and curiosity for root-cause analysis
- Sound judgment with GAAP modified GAAP and modified cash basis
- Advanced proficiency in QBO Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience with bank-feed rules CSV imports and system migrations
- Thorough documentation and workpaper preparation skills
- Clear confident communication for client and team conversations
- Self-directed dependable and able to manage multiple cleanups

Day to day
- Lead onboarding for new client engagements and define accounting frameworks with the CFO.
- Own full cleanup work by verifying balances, documenting support, and resolving discrepancies to the penny.
- Prepare seamless handoffs by creating schedules, rules, recurring entries, and detailed workpapers for the ongoing team.
