Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting Finance or related field
  • CPA highly desired
  • 5-7 years of progressive financial management experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP
  • Biotech experience is a plus
  • Big Four or comparable public accounting experience desirable
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Bill.com
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Day to day

  • Manage day to day accounting operations across the general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll
  • Prepare timely financial statements and board level reports that provide clear actionable insights
  • Support budgeting forecasting cash flow planning ERP enhancements and process automation while helping scale the accounting function
