Remote Senior AI/ML Engineer Job in UK Oracle

Who you are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience developing machine learning algorithms.
• Extensive knowledge of large language models and natural language processing techniques.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java.
• Good knowledge of PL/SQL is a must.
• Experience with OpenSearch, Vector databases, Kafka Streaming.
• Practical experience with parameter-efficient fine-tuning, instruction fine-tuning, and advanced prompt engineering techniques like Tree-of-Thoughts.
• Hands-on experience with emerging LLM frameworks and plugins.
• Experience with RAG-based solutions architecture.
• Familiarity with OpenSearch and Vector stores as a knowledge store.
• Knowledge of LLM and experience delivering, Generative AI and Agent models are a significant plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to independently work on complex projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software products within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What the job involves

• Design, develop, and maintain large language models (LLMs) to create a Generative AI application based on textual inputs, ensuring it meets the high standards required by Oracle.
• Perform data processing, cleansing and quality verification (Data Engineering).
• Ensure data curation by implementing proper labeling and classifications.
• Leverage NLP techniques to categorize textual inputs while considering different aspects such as NL intent complexities etc.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, applying innovative techniques and methodologies to continually enhance our systems.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of the project, from conception through deployment and ongoing maintenance, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives and deliver maximum value.
