Remote Senior Application Security Engineer- Crypto and Onchain Job in UK Kraken Digital Asset Exchange

Who you are

• Have 2+ years of security experience
• Possess hands-on knowledge of EVM chains, particularly Ethereum-based L2s
• Familiarity with Solidity; Rust and Go knowledge is a plus
• Experience with security tooling like Slither, Foundry, or Hardhat
• Ability to effectively communicate technical security findings
• Capable of creating technical documentation and engaging in constructive dialogue

Desirables

• Fuzz testing experience
• Published tools, blogs, or smart contract audits
• Understanding of zero-knowledge and validity proofs
• Knowledge of traditional application security tools

What the job involves

• Contribute to the development of the on-chain security program
• Perform smart contract reviews using automated and manual methods
• Assist in risk analysis for listing new tokens and NFT collections
• Develop recommendations for crypto node infrastructure across various platforms
• Create incident response simulations for improved detection and recovery
• Participate in industry working groups focusing on Web3 security
• Research cutting-edge attack techniques and detection methods
