What the job involves
Lead a dynamic sales team to help GitLab surpass growth goals. Responsible for hiring, developing, and leading a high-performing team of Strategic Account Leaders. Develop and execute strategies focused on expanding the client base within the territory.
Manage a team of Area Sales Managers and Strategic Account Leaders; foster a positive team environment. Maintain and grow accounts within the territory and convert new accounts at acceptable margins. Engage Channels, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales resources during the sales process.
Effectively establish strong relationships with key decision-makers. Develop and maintain a strong executive call plan and relationship with CXOs & Program level leaders. Utilize advanced offering knowledge to develop customized proposals.
