Requirements
- 2-4 years of investment banking or private equity experience, ideally with experience in the wealth management or financial services sectors
- Strategic thinker
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Building complex financial models with bespoke transaction structures and detailed operational forecasts
- Reviewing industry and company specific information and developing quantitative and qualitative analysis and investment thesis work
- Assisting platform companies with M&A analysis and other analytical work
- Preparing quarterly valuations
Day to day
- Evaluating and executing private equity investment opportunities within the financial services sector
- Building complex financial models with bespoke transaction structures and detailed operational forecasts
- Reviewing information and developing quantitative and qualitative analysis and investment thesis work
- Developing memos and presentations that summarize opportunities and conclusions for the investment committee
- Assisting platform companies with M&A analysis and other analytical work
- Preparing quarterly valuations
