BA/BS degree or international equivalent
5+ years of relevant work experience with compliance technology and data analysis
Advanced skills with Python and SQL
Experience in Databricks and Pyspark preferred
Experience working collaboratively across different teams and departments
Strong technical and clear business communication style
Knowledge of working with BI applications (Tableau/Looker/Power BI)
Desirables
Understanding of regulatory expectations and industry standards in relation to AML/BSA/Sanctions regulations
Familiarity with blockchain tracing/analytics tools or blockchain concepts
Adaptability to an ever-changing environment
Capability to articulate thorough analysis to stakeholders
What the job involves
Work with experienced compliance professionals responsible for critical functions within the Compliance and AML/BSA/Sanctions program
Translate compliance knowledge and data analysis into technology powering Gemini Compliance program
Frequent interaction with senior management, third party vendors/auditors, and multiple departments
Assist in development and maintenance of Gemini’s transaction monitoring system
Enhance Sanctions controls, procedures and tuning of thresholds
Support and maintain a customer risk scoring model
Build real-time data and reporting solutions using Python or SQL
Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues
Create test plans, test scripts and perform data validation
Build and maintain process documentation
Balance numerous projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Participate in ad-hoc remediation or business specific projects including examinations and/or external audits
