Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Experience within automation robotics or special-purpose machinery
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
- Comfortable working across concept and delivery phases
- Experience working with customers or alongside commercial teams
- Exposure to retrofit or upgrade projects is advantageous
- Willing to travel across the UK Europe and occasionally the US

Day to day
- Develop automation concepts and proposal designs with sales teams and customers
- Create system layouts and detailed design solutions in SolidWorks for bespoke automation projects
- Produce hardware requirements and technical documentation and support handover through build and production
- Collaborate with mechanical electrical and robotics engineers and carry out site visits for upgrades and retrofit opportunities
