Remote Senior BI Developer Job in UK Davies

Who you are

• Understand SQL Server stack, SSRS, SSIS, and SQL Azure.
• Minimum ten years' developer experience.
• Essential TSQL knowledge.
• Experience with C#, SharePoint, or other languages an advantage.
• Analytical and documentation skills.
• Liaise with business users and design solutions.
• Degree in mathematical/IT discipline desirable.
• Relevant experience in SQL Server considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of SharePoint and/or web development an advantage.
• Experience in the Lloyd’s insurance market.
• LIVE environment experience.
• Good verbal and written communication.

What the job involves

• Create and maintain MS SQL Server objects.
• Support an in-house data warehouse.
• Provide business user analysis and technical solutions.
• Maintain code version control and adhere to release procedures.
• Develop SSRS reports and maintain SQL Server objects and SSIS packages.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ad-hoc extracts.
• Assist SharePoint and web developers.
• Develop Asta's API and Cloud capabilities.
• Assist in onboarding new clients accurately and on tight deadlines.
