Remote Senior Cloud Network Engineer Job in UK Dayforce

Who you are

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering with a focus on network engineering and troubleshooting
• Expertise in multiple cloud disciplines such as technical architecture, network management, application development, observability, network security, and databases
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud Networking with a strong understanding of protocols like BGP, TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and routing
• Experience in managing secure data lake pipelines and network cost analysis
• Strong background in load balancing technologies, network edge security providers, and implementing multi-regional networks with Azure technologies
• Proficiency in automation languages, cloud-based security architectures, observability products, and networking/implementing event streaming architectures
• Program and project management experience with strong communication skills and ability to lead discussions about complex solution design tradeoffs
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment

• Play a pivotal and hands-on role within the Cloud Network team, emphasizing expertise in implementation, administration, support, and monitoring for network edge, load balancing, caching, and security
• Provide technical direction and strategic leadership for highly available and scalable network infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with cloud engineering, platform engineering, and product teams to ensure scalable solutions are ahead of business needs
