Requirements
- 5+ years in information security
- 3+ years focused on AWS cloud security
- Deep understanding of AWS architecture security services and cloud security best practices
- Experience integrating security into engineering DevOps and cloud environments
- Solid knowledge of network security encryption technologies and secure coding practices
- Hands-on experience with incident response risk assessment penetration testing and security audits
- Excellent analytical skills for identifying and mitigating complex security vulnerabilities and risks
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Experience developing or contributing to acceptable use policies and security guardrails for AI tools
- Familiarity with AI-specific risks including prompt injection data leakage model supply chain concerns and agentic tools
- Ability to evaluate AI vendors and their data handling practices against compliance requirements

Day to day
- Own and strengthen AWS cloud security controls across infrastructure and services to protect systems and data.
- Design and operate security practices within DevOps and cloud workflows, improving detection prevention and response capabilities.
- Monitor threats investigate suspicious activity and remediate vulnerabilities while supporting incident response audits compliance and customer security reviews.
- Establish AI usage guardrails and evaluate AI tools to reduce privacy compliance and data leakage risks across engineering and business teams.
