Requirements
- 5+ years of cloud security or cybersecurity engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles including IAM networking encryption and logging
- Hands-on experience securing AWS services
- Experience securing containerized environments such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Deep understanding of security in regulated environments including HIPAA HITRUST and SOC 2
- Experience implementing Zero Trust Architecture
- Proficiency in programming or scripting
- Experience identifying AI security risks and securing AI technologies
- Ability to work and indirectly lead a wide range of professionals and team members

Day to day
- Design and implement secure cloud security architectures across AWS with strong guardrails and Zero Trust principles
- Secure containerized and serverless workloads while continuously improving the cloud security posture and prioritizing remediation efforts
- Partner with engineering data science and GRC teams to protect PHI secure AI/ML and GenAI systems and support compliance initiatives
- Build automation monitoring and response workflows to strengthen DevSecOps CI/CD and incident response capabilities
