Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications public policy journalism marketing public affairs or related field
- Five or more years of professional communications experience
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Experience editing reports policy publications research summaries or other long-form written content
- Familiarity with AP style and APA style
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Professional experience using HubSpot or another mass email platform
- Professional experience using WordPress or another web content management system
- Familiarity with social media or marketing analytics tools
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to quickly learn new subject matter and manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated understanding of diversity equity and inclusion
- Commitment to continuous learning about communications tools and trends

Day to day
- Manage communications projects from concept through publication while coordinating across internal teams and external partners to meet deadlines and maintain review processes.
- Synthesize complex research findings and policy analyses into clear accessible communications for policymakers practitioners partners and other external audiences.
- Develop and refine major communications products including policy briefs research summaries reports presentations website copy media materials and leadership briefings.
