Requirements
- 4+ years of controls systems design experience
- Experience in material handling warehouse automation conveyor or sortation systems
- Ability to design a complete controls system from scratch using mechanical layouts and project requirements
- Strong AutoCAD Electrical experience creating controls device layouts
- Working knowledge of PLC programming and controls system functionality
- Experience leading and mentoring engineers
- Strong communication problem-solving and technical leadership skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20-25% as needed

Day to day
- Lead controls system design for complex material handling and warehouse automation projects from concept through implementation.
- Develop complete controls designs from mechanical layouts and project requirements while anticipating limitations and deployment challenges.
- Create detailed controls device layouts in AutoCAD Electrical and collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and design integrity.
