Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of total experience, preferably combined in public accounting and public/private crypto sectors (preferred)
- Understanding of GAAP standards
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets
- Hands-on experience in the financial close process (preferred)
- Experience with foreign entity accounting

Day to day
- Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances
- Record and reconcile crypto-related transactions, including preparing and maintaining monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis
- Assist with compiling internal team requests and external audit requests
- Research important accounting issues and suggest best practices and applications in accordance with accounting standards
- Lead meetings with cross-functional stakeholders on crypto projects
- Work cross-functionally with relevant stakeholders on crypto projects
- Establish accounting processes for crypto projects, including providing stakeholders with accounting requirements and setting up monthly accounting processes
- Work with various departments to streamline data flow and processes
- Assist with system automation projects as needed
