Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 7+ in accounting to include job cost experience
Nice to have
- Prior Project Accounting experience
- Experience with ERP systems and other applications
- Experience in the application of accrual accounting for month-end close
- Competency applying US GAAP
- Strong excel skills (formulas, vlookup, xlookup, pivot tables)
Day to day
- You will be responsible for calculating and recording POC entries. Your role involves preparing journal entries and ensuring timely review and analysis of various general ledger accounts. You will support alignment with shared service accounting policies and best practices.
- You will complete various monthly and/or quarterly deliverables assigned. Your duties include researching and investigating financial variances for monthly fluctuation analysis and preparing business process documentation for core activities.
- Your role demands excellent communication skills and an analytical mindset to act and operate independently. The ability to immerse oneself to understand problems and propose solutions is crucial, along with collaborating with Financial Planning and Analysis and Operations teams.
