Senior Cost Controller

Day to day

• Develop implement and maintain comprehensive cost control reports that align with project objectives budgets and contractual requirements
• Monitor project budgets track and analyze expenditures and ensure costs align with project estimates
• Identify budget variances and deviations
• Prepare accurate cost forecasts considering project progress and scope changes
• Regularly update project managers and stakeholders on cost implications
• Evaluate and process change orders and project scope variations
• Assess the impact of changes on project costs and schedules
• Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing
• Identify potential cost risks and uncertainties that may affect project budgets and propose strategies for risk mitigation and cost containment
• Generate and distribute detailed cost control reports to stakeholders highlighting key financial metrics cost performance and areas for improvement
• Work closely with project teams schedulers engineers and other stakeholders to ensure cost control measures align with overall project requirements
• Maintain accurate and organized records of project costs change orders and financial documents for auditing and compliance purposes
