Job Title: Senior Cost Controller. Job Description:We have an Oil & Energy client looking for a Senior Cost Controller to support their projects across the United States. The Project Services - Cost Control role is integral to the project management team. This position ensures that projects are completed within budget and achieve financial goals by effectively tracking expenditures updating cost reports and managing all aspects of cost control.

Develop implement and maintain comprehensive cost control reports that align with project objectives budgets and contractual requirements
Monitor project budgets track and analyze expenditures and ensure costs align with project estimates
Identify budget variances and deviations
Prepare accurate cost forecasts considering project progress and scope changes
Regularly update project managers and stakeholders on cost implications
Evaluate and process change orders and project scope variations
Assess the impact of changes on project costs and schedules
Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing
Identify potential cost risks and uncertainties that may affect project budgets and propose strategies for risk mitigation and cost containment
Generate and distribute detailed cost control reports to stakeholders highlighting key financial metrics cost performance and areas for improvement
Work closely with project teams schedulers engineers and other stakeholders to ensure cost control measures align with overall project requirements
Maintain accurate and organized records of project costs change orders and financial documents for auditing and compliance purposes
