Requirements
- Juris Doctor or international equivalent degree
- 6+ years practicing attorney experience in labor law
- Experience with collective bargaining organizing activity agency hearings and labor arbitration
- Active law license in a jurisdiction and ability to meet admission requirements in a relevant jurisdiction
- Willingness to travel frequently to Irvine campus and other locations as needed
- Extensive experience drafting negotiating and interpreting collective bargaining agreements
- Strong judgment balancing legal analysis business goals risk tolerance and stakeholder priorities
- Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines amid competing priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail

Day to day
- Serve as a trusted advisor on collective bargaining labor relations and employee engagement matters
- Provide strategic legal counsel on evolving labor law grievances unfair labor practice charges and related proceedings
- Partner with Legal HR Labor Relations Employee Relations Communications and business leaders to build inclusive practical long-term labor strategies
