Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on data engineering experience owning production data infrastructure end-to-end
- Strong SQL with complex aggregations window functions and multi-step transformations
- Experience building and maintaining SQL-based transformation pipelines across dev staging and prod
- Infrastructure as code skills for cloud data infrastructure permissions and access debugging
- Python for data engineering including ETL scripts pipeline tooling and automation
- Experience designing monitoring and alerting strategy for data quality
- Ability to debug issues end-to-end across the data stack
- Comfort using AI tools while understanding the underlying systems
- Cost and scale awareness for partitioning clustering and spend
- Ability to mentor others and raise engineering standards

Day to day
- Own the data foundation that powers reporting experiments and business decisions across client environments.
