Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in modern Lakehouse and SQL/MPP architectures
- Solid knowledge of Azure Data Platform technologies including Databricks Data Factory Microsoft Fabric Azure Data Lake and Azure DevOps CI/CD
- Proficiency in Python Spark and SQL
- Experience in performance tuning data optimisation and cloud best practices
- Understanding of distributed systems security governance and networking
- Comfortable in client-facing environments
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience mentoring engineers or supporting technical development
- Degree in Computer Science Data Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience
- At least one relevant certification Databricks Data Engineer Professional or Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate

Day to day
- Design, develop, and support complex Azure data pipelines and platforms using Databricks Data Factory Microsoft Fabric and Synapse.
