Requirements
- 5+ years delivering data engineering solutions on a cloud platform
- 5+ years implementing modern designs using AWS Azure or GCP
- Advanced proficiency with at least one ETL or data orchestration tool
- Experience with cloud data warehousing and data lake solutions such as Snowflake Redshift or Databricks
- 5+ years with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Expertise in SQL database design and data structures including star and snowflake schemas
- 5+ years with at least one programming language such as Python Java R C C++ or Shell
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as git Jenkins CI/CD or Jira
- Fundamental understanding of big data open source and data streaming concepts
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring data engineering engineers

Day to day
- Advise customers on data engineering best practices methodologies and cloud technologies to shape effective solutions
- Design implement and maintain modern data pipelines that ingest transform and deliver data from disparate sources
- Partner with product owners business SMEs and technical teams to create scalable supportable engineered solutions
- Provide technical leadership share knowledge and align technical decisions with business needs and cloud patterns
- Stay current with evolving cloud data technologies and communicate clear recommendations to stakeholders
