Requirements
- 4+ years of software or data engineering experience
- High-volume ETL or data migration experience in production
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills
- Programming proficiency in Python Go or a similar language
- Experience extracting from operational databases without disrupting production workloads
- Rigor around data correctness including validation reconciliation idempotent reruns and audit trails
- Comfort working in mature codebases
- Production debugging skills and off-hours incident response experience
- AWS experience in production environments
- AI/LLM fluency using AI tools to accelerate work

Day to day
- Design and build a data migration system that moves customer data from legacy sources into the platform, handling millions of rows per conversion.
- Map heterogeneous source data from CAD/RMS exports third-party databases and flat files into a coherent data model.
- Own migration correctness end to end by validating reconciling and reporting on data integrity while building repeatable auditable tooling.
- Contribute to analytics and business intelligence by creating modeled datasets reports and dashboards that support agency operations.
- Optimize query performance storage costs and production data workflows while collaborating across Product Implementation and Operations teams.
