Who you are
- 4+ years of Data Engineering Experience on BigData Systems
- Experience with Data Lakes/Warehouse/Lakehouse and Relational Databases
- Experience orchestrating ETL/ELT Data pipelines
- Strong experience in Python/Java/C programming languages Data Modeling & SQL programming
Desirables
- Experience with multi-hop medallion architecture and domain driven data models
- Experience working with and implementing open source applications
- Experience with DBT Hex and GCP
- Experience building real time (streaming data) pipelines and/or APIs
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum principles and SDLC practices
What the job involves
- Architect and automate end-2-end data processing and data management lifecycle on Google Cloud Platform
- Collaborate with XFN partners (Product Managers Data Scientists Machine Learning Engineers Application Sources etc) to capture requirements and build a robust data platform
- Perform data analysis build data pipelines and build canonical datasets and domain data models to empower users to make data driven business decisions
- Mentor other junior team members
