Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years hands-on data engineering experience
- 5+ years data modeling and solution design experience in healthcare or health insurance
- 5+ years experience in enterprise software in a regulated industry
- 5+ years experience with clinical and claims data and compliance requirements
- 5+ years experience in enterprise big data platform infrastructure development
- Most recent role must have been in healthcare data engineering
- Expert Python and SQL
- Databricks experience expert preferred
- Data loading solutions with a Spark-based data platform
- Cloud architecture and security DevOps and release engineering
- Healthcare data modeling and ETL development
- Experience using AI tools to augment code development
- Application of SDLC DevOps version control and code deployment best practices
- Agile software engineering principles and tools such as JIRA ADO or ServiceNow
- Strong critical thinking ability
- Deep understanding of claims data provider attribution actuarial services Medicare and Medicaid data risk adjustment and value-based care models
