Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent and relevant experience in lieu of degree
• 5 or more years' experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
• Data Engineering experience implementing data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools
• Familiarity with Big Data Tools
• Familiarity with Stream Processing
• Familiarity with Data Orchestration tools
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and serverless computing

Desirables

• Certifications in cloud technologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with GraphQL schema design and implementation
• Familiarity with containerization technologies
• Prior project lead experience

What the job involves

• Designs, builds, and maintains data processing architectures and solutions enabling the efficient conversion of data to insights at enterprise scale
• Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Develops software tools that leverage AI, machine learning, and big-data techniques to cleanse, organize, and transform data into insights and actions that enables us to better serve our customers
• Begins to influence department’s strategy
• Makes decisions on technical approaches for project components and works without direction
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
