Requirements
- 5+ years of production data engineering experience with end-to-end ownership of systems built and operated
- Strong Python skills with meaningful experience in a JVM language such as Scala or willingness to ramp quickly
- Hands-on Snowflake experience or equivalent depth in BigQuery or Redshift with transferable skills
- Experience deploying and operating AI or ML applications in production including validation monitoring and cost management
- Orchestration experience with Apache Airflow or a comparable workflow tool
- Track record of operating production systems reliably with comfort in failure monitoring and recovery

Day to day
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines that transform billions of primary-source records into actionable intelligence.
- Collaborate closely with AI/ML and Product teams to deliver new features and AI-native products.
- Identify bottlenecks in complex ETL systems and optimize code, performance, documentation, and reliability.
