Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 4-5 years of production Data Engineering experience
- Expertise in Python
- Expertise in Snowflake
- Expertise in SQL databases and query optimization
- Experience with a large cloud provider such as AWS Azure or GCP
- Ability to read code independently and understand intent
- Ability to write readable modifiable code that solves business problems
- Ability to build reliable robust data pipelines for scheduled and event-based workflows
- Experience working directly with stakeholders to create solutions
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers on best practices
Nice to have
- Streamlit experience
- Snowflake Openflow familiarity
- Snowflake Cortex exposure
- Analytics engineering background
Day to day
- Design and build advanced data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS technologies to deliver high-quality data products.
- Develop analytical data models that support BI analytics and AI/ML workloads while improving query performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with Analytics Data Science and stakeholders to translate business needs into maintainable scalable solutions and mentor other engineers.
