Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience with strong working knowledge of SQL
  • 6+ years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Experience with AWS data infrastructure including S3 RDS Kafka Glue Athena Quicksight and DataZone
  • Experience with systems engineering or software development using Java Javascript or Python
  • Experience with modern API platform design security practices and data architectures including event driven architecture change data capture and pub/sub

Day to day

  • Design and build internal data platform capabilities that support governed access for software development and analytics teams.
  • Partner with architects and engineering teams to deliver secure resilient and highly available data solutions.
  • Develop automations tools and operational patterns that simplify consumption improve self service and enable scalable data platform adoption.
  • Support data platform services maintain code and configuration and help improve data pipeline development across the organization.
