Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Data/Software Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience delivering scalable production-grade data platforms and models
- Strong SQL skills with experience designing building and optimising data pipelines and warehouse schemas
- Strong Python proficiency for maintainable testable clean production code
- Experience implementing data quality observability monitoring and testing practices
- Solid experience with at least one cloud provider and managed data services
- Experience with CI/CD infrastructure-as-code and containerised environments
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as Databricks Snowflake or RedShift
- Experience with reporting and modelling tools such as Power BI and self-serve analytics
- Advanced pattern recognition skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Results-oriented mindset with ability to take concepts from ideation through tangible outputs
- Proactive collaborative approach with willingness to iterate share knowledge and challenge assumptions constructively
