Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in data science machine learning and NLP with production delivery experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Hands on experience with ELT and ETL workflows using dbt Airflow and AWS data services
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals including tested modular Python Git workflows containerization and CI/CD
  • Experience productionizing and monitoring models on AWS with tools such as SageMaker and MLflow
  • Experience building and evaluating LLM powered applications including prompt design retrieval and RAG pipelines
  • Ability to scope ambiguous problems and deliver end to end with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and coach mentor other data scientists
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Day to day

  • Lead AI, ML, and NLP initiatives end to end from problem framing through production deployment and long term maintenance
  • Build and evaluate LLM powered solutions that automate complex healthcare workflows while balancing accuracy latency and inference cost
  • Partner with clinicians pharmacists engineers and executives to define ground truth validate model behavior and communicate technical findings clearly
