Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or equivalent role producing models and analytics for business applications
  • Deep understanding of advanced data science techniques machine learning algorithms and optimization methods
  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models
  • Proficiency in data engineering and data pipelines
  • Skill in using advanced data visualization tools and techniques to communicate insights and tell compelling stories with data
  • Mastery of Python and SQL version control Git and ability to learn new data science tools quickly

  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members in their technical growth and development

Day to day

  • Lead full-stack data science projects from ideation through implementation across large and complex datasets.
  • Develop predictive campaign models and entity resolution methods that improve turnout, partisanship, and issue-support scoring.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and research teams to prototype solutions and move data science work into production.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear visualizations, memos, and presentations that inform stakeholders and guide product decisions.
