Requirements

  • 5-8+ years in data science applied ML or statistics with production model shipping experience
  • Churn prediction survival analysis and lifecycle-state modeling in subscription or recurring-revenue settings
  • Uplift incrementality measurement and A/B testing with causal rigor
  • End-to-end ML and MLOps including CI/CD registries containerization orchestration and monitoring
  • Strong Python SQL and reproducible code practices with scikit-learn gradient boosting and deep learning a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • BS in a quantitative field required MS or PhD preferred
  • Ability to leverage generative AI to increase output quality and speed

Day to day

  • Own retention and churn modeling for a weekly subscription business, predicting at-risk customers and anticipating lifecycle movement.
  • Develop intervention models that power save flows, skip and pause deflection, lifecycle messaging, resurrection, and win-back experiences.
  • Partner closely with Product CRM Marketing and Engineering to ship production models, measure uplift, optimize offers, and improve retained revenue.
